The current WordPress admin dashboard frustrates developers because it was created for a blog-like environment, and currently WordPress is being used as a CMS more and more.

It simply does not fit the modern-day use cases WordPress is being used in.

This plugin, 'Sweet Custom Dashboard', allows developers to create their own admin dashboard layouts, with custom content, layout and behavior, based on their project's needs and goals.

Just edit the 'custom_dashboard.php' file that comes with the plugin and access the 'Custom Dashboard' page in the WP admin panel to view the results.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
